If you're a Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher program participant, and live in another Housing Authority's jurisdiction, you MUST talk to Section 8 Program Director, Elizabeth Little, about the program requirements of portability. The Housing Authority of Fort Mill is a Moving-to-Work agency. After January 1, 2024, all port-ins, excluding elderly and disabled families, will be required to have employment at a minimum of 30 hours per week before being allowed to lease in the Fort Mill jurisdiction.
